Kaitoke Park, Upper Hutt (about half an hour from Wainui) Mt Taranaki- about 4 hours drive from Wainui. Ohawe Bch in Taranaki View from Paekakariki Hill Road- 40 mins from Wainui.
Seals at Cape Palliser- hour and a half from Wainui. Rimutaka Hill Road- about an hour from Wainui. Kaitoke Park again.
